Camera work and framing following your concept, direction and shot list.

From €950

Director of Photography

Lighting and visual look for projects that need their own visual signature on the ground.

For bigger shoots, I bring in additional local crew from my network, such as a 1st AC or sound recordist, so your whole team doesn't need to travel.

About me

Countries

Before founding Vista-Werk, I spent more than ten years working as a camera operator and editor on productions in 28 countries, first internationally in the watersports industry and later in event and corporate film.

During that time I was a guest on many different sets, working with external production companies. That meant learning early on how to work professionally and efficiently with constantly changing teams. As a camera operator, I learned clear communication and developed a workflow that fits into existing processes.

That's the experience I bring today to production companies in Cologne, Düsseldorf or the surrounding area that need a reliable, local addition to their project.

Why a local crew?

What a local videographer saves you

  • No flights, no hotel

Flying in a full crew from abroad rarely pays off for a single shoot day. Within 100 km of Cologne no hotel is needed, and within Cologne there are no travel costs either.

  • Local knowledge on the ground

Locations, traffic, permits and regional contacts are already familiar.

  • Bilingual communication

On set, coordination happens in German or English, depending on what's needed on site.

  • Short-notice availability

No long lead time for flights or travel, so short-notice projects stay realistic.

  • No carnet needed

Productions from countries like the UK otherwise need a carnet to bring in their own equipment. Using local camera gear on the ground removes that extra step.
